Shark Tawny Sport Watch Dial

Shark Tawny Review

The Shark Tawny is big, loud, and looks like it just came off the set of a cyberpunk movie. Anyone who considers themselves a watch person isn’t going to like the Tawny, but people looking for a stylized fashion watch will find that there’s a lot in its design to like. Found for well under its $89 MSRP, the Tawny is a bold watch from a growing microbrand.

Nixon Sentry Leather A105 - Rose Gold & Brown

Nixon Sentry Leather A105 Photo Review

The Nixon Sentry Leather, powered by what is likely a Miyota quartz movement, is a great looking watch that embraces its fashion status without making structural or mechanical compromises. It’s affordability and overall look make it a great daily wearer, though if you’re looking for something more mechanical, the Sentry isn’t for you. It’s a fashion watch, yes, but a pretty good one.

Fossil Decker CH2573 01

Fossil Decker Chronograph Review

The Decker CH2573 is pretty good, though it is on the expensive side for what it is. It is comfortable to wear thanks in no small part to the silicon strap. It feels good on the wrist and offers excellent night visibility. It’s a perfectly average watch in basically every respect.

Kenneth Cole KC2508

Kenneth Cole KC2508 Review

Proving that some stereotypes are well earned, the KC2508 is a disposable ladies automatic. Even with a bargain-basement price of $125, the entire watch is a total let down. It takes relatively attractive packaging, fills it with an unknown automatic movement, and then puts little care into anything else. Total junk.

Lucien Piccard 26576SSD

Lucien Piccard 26576SSD Review

Where do I start with this one? From eighteen months into ownership, the day display hand came out of alignment, lining up just below the actual indication. One of the diamonds has a very obvious occlusion visible to the naked eye. It’s big, bulky, and has no idea what it wants to be. It’s horribly inaccurate. It’s not a good buy, period.
